@yomuchan@pawoo.net it's a mixed bag with lots of stuff but here's what I have got:
- BS says they're an open platform, yet if you host a server, your posts have to go through their servers, so you're basically paying their hosting of images and videos. (Why would you do that???)
- They released a paid model with "benefits" for those who pay (basically the same as X)
- Current X administration is going to use images for training of their AI, grok. The thing is that it's not as easy to get images from X as it is from bluesky, so if you post art on twitter you only get trained by Grok, while if you post them on blusky/publicly they get trained by meta/openai/etc
- community is being based off "I hate Twitter mentality" so it's gonna be full of people wanting censorship

I see blue sky as a censored, bootleged, proprietarish version of the fediverse, so there's no reason to use it.
