WearyBonnieI have a hard time trusting people who (in public at least) only ever say positive and uplifting things about being chronically ill. I get that a positive mindset is a really big deal for some people, and it's good that it helps, but I suspect it feeds into the common abled perception that anyone who's struggling is just not being positive enough or not trying hard enough. I think we should talk about the really shitty parts of chronic illness in public, too.
