Been looking at jj as an alternative to git and I find it pretty interesting (though making note of a nontrivial number of critiques as I explore it).

But the thing which assuredly, tragically kills it dead for me, is that their community is on Discord.

It's so fucking sad when I mentally have to throw a promising project into the bin for this one stupid, tragic decision.
