As I scroll through the "Explore" TL of mastodon.social I cannot but ask: What dumb shit is this fedi-site? Cat pics, Israel hatred (aka "Israel citicism"), more cat pics, Trump and US election... its like brainless X/Twitter, and as boring as Bluesky. "Social media" don't die because of being outrage machines (with or without behaviour triggering algorithms) but because of the utter boredom they create. Everything people ever had to say they already posted years ago when they first started using "social media". Now, dumb as fuck, people post like that.
