Work & pensions secretary Liz Kendall plans to keep £1.3bn in cuts to UK sickness benefits announced by the previous Tory government. This will affect half a million of the most vulnerable people.
She also plans to keep the draconian Tory changes to work capability assessments, in order to 'encourage' disabled people into work.
Kendall was the only Labour leadership candidate in 2015 to fully back Tory welfare cuts.
