I have a question for the collective - ready?

Does anyone have any good tips for removing candle wax from hardwood floors and wood furniture?

Before going to bed last night, Laura accidentally knocked a scented candle over and the hot wax spilled out onto a chair and the hardwood floor in our dining room.

Is there something that can remove the wax but not harm the wood floors?
