- Embed this noticeI haven't bought anything off Amazon since 2016, but the last time I did this, I still got the product in an Amazon box. The company used Amazon as its warehouse, even to dispatch Shopify orders.
Sometimes I'll order things off of eBay and it comes in an Amazon box, because someone is abusing their Prime membership for that tiny margin, or it's a store that uses Amazon for warehousing.
Amazon makes <%1 profit from retail. They are literally the largest retailer on the fucking planet, and they make no money from retail; just keep it around for the name.
You're not going to hurt Amazon unless people have a reason to flee AWS.
