@clacke I haven't come across any misogynists in free software, but I have seen plenty in "open source", as proprietary software developers seem to hate women even more than they hate humanity.

Freedom enjoyers are there for the freedom - they don't care about the sex of the individual behind the @gnu.org email or irc nickname.

Considering that most, if not all of the paying jobs in the FSF are held by women, I'm not sure what the FSF is meant to "clean" up, as women are getting the best conditions; https://www.fsf.org/about/staff-and-board


The FSF is willing to collaborate even with organizations that they don't agree with like the EFF, but the "OSI", "FSFE" and "SFC" have decided themselves to not collaborate with the FSF.
