It isn't shitty, it's actually one of my favorites, but you should check out The Wailing. It's a Korean horror film. Kinda long but it's so well done. I normally don't watch horror movies but it's a rare exception. If you do get around to it, there's an extended ending that gives some crazy context to the story and is the cherry on top.
