@shibao @denza252@shitposter.world I can see the appeal of having a more capable carbine in the same cartridge and magazine as your pistol. That's super cool from like a cowboy/survivalist perspective.
But if you're going to have a carbine sized deal might as well get the best cartridge you can in the gun. Best can mean different things for carbines/rifles depending on their purpose. For a home defense gun, terminal ballistic is the best. For a plinker, maybe cost is the best. 9mm is a lot of things and none of them are "best" at anything certainly not terminal effect and not cost compared to a .22. It's simply the best thing we can fit in a magazine that fits in a handgun.
Ruger also makes the PC in .22. It's called a 10/22. lol
