I’m not particularly interested in which part of the brain certain activities trigger, it’s irrelevant to the point I was making which was all about how we as blind people are set up to maximise our participation in society. True literacy increases our chances of having a good life, and I appreciate you acknowledging the harm these professionals are doing by depriving blind kids of the skills that are a fundamental human right.
