Having studied the works of G.I. Gurdjieff and P.D. I have difficulty with memorization so I tended to focus on playing various scales and improv, just doing whatever my fingers would let me. Call it folk jazz. Dupytrens Contracture eventually took over my left hand, so the playing has stopped until I can get that fixed.
Hindsight is a lovely thing, it allows me to imagine that if I'd suppressed that urge to buy that old Ford pickup, the '49 Willys pickup, or the '63 Mercedes, I might now own a mandocello. Advice to the young - you'll get a lot more mileage out of a Martin guitar and an e-bike than you will out of a car.</a></label><br><a href="https://files.toad.social/media_attachments/files/110/527/398/779/669/997/original/068ecc989fe621f4.jpeg" rel="external">https://files.toad.social/media_attachments/files/110/527/398/779/669/997/original/068ecc989fe621f4.jpeg</a></li></ol></footer></blockquote>
