@FinalOverdrive@kolektiva.social yeah there's a real ally industrial complex with implicit corporate liberal assumptions, which is very much tied to corporate diversity HR and PR campaigns, not that i'm against companies having diversity programs, the problem is it's capitalistic in nature and imo kinda washing the hands of these corporations who are effectively organs of the white supremacist power structure even with POC C.E.O.'s

So what people like DiAngelo are selling is a way for (White) Managers to go thru the motions of performing anti-racism and maybe even relieve them of guilt. It is not coming from the perspective of "we have to instill in whites anti racist principles so that they can be allies against White Supremacist Imperialism" So really let's be critical of who's these folks are allied with?
