i think setting boundaries and being real with the sorts of relationships that we can support in our life is important, but leaving these folks to entirely fend for themselves is ultimately very ableist. since personality disorders manifest from mistreatment which generally results from other social problems, it's also inherently sexist, racist, homomisic, transmisic, and etc.
