I'm not gonna lie. I've met a few home school parents who's intelligence is in question, but when I look back at school, in most classes, except a few, teachers did very little. Instead they held up a book and flipped pages while they played the audio on tape (remember that) or they'd bring in a reel to reel projector to play some short about Abraham Lincoln, etc. Fuck
... I didn't even learn to write until I was in law school, when a professor made us all read the elements of style, which takes about an hour.

Tl;dr school is a waste of time, and with today's tech, kids can learn more from YouTube if you know what to look for.
