@Nicro yeah, I take great care gluing off the PU parts (black foam), because they may not be painted. painting the plastic is not a problem. I spoke to a dude who does this for pro teams and also got told what to do (sand down plastic bits, prime, sand off primer a bit, paint, clear coat)
