If people refuse to do anything about easy access to guns, schools need to be protected by scanners/metal detectors.

And before you think I’m just spouting off, please know, I work in a city school with a single entrance that has scanners. It felt weird at first, but now it’s simpler than boarding a plane. I feel safer for myself than I do about my kids who go to school in the county with no scanning and multiple entrances.
