Wikipedia has articles for specific topics folks find interesting and useful. OSM is just a map of everything at one place. If Wikipedia just had one article with everything in it, that wouldn't be too useful, or inviting to contribute to

I'd love to see a real "Wikipedia for (custom) maps"
