    @kaia @moth_ball related story:

    I started going on long walks on east/west paths. I do this usually pretty early or pretty late, so the sun gets in my eyes. Sunglasses don't help much with direct sunlight, and I don't like them anyway because I want a very clear view of the trail - especially if I'm skating, I want to see tiny rocks. But then, what can I do?
    >secret of the ancestors unlocked: hats
    I get a hat with a brim that I can easily block out the sun with. I try a few hates, but migrate to something like a baseball cap because high winds will catch the brims of other hats and pull them off my head.

    If I'm walking towards the sun I can look down slightly to block it out.
    If I'm walking towards the sun at an angle, I can turn the hat. This looks a bit silly....
    If I'm walking away from the sun I of course don't need to do anything. But, I have not yet unlocked [secret of the ancestors: popped collars] and most of my shirts are collarless. So if I'm walking away from the sun, it burns the back of my neck.

    But!
    But!
    A baseball cap can be turned backwards to completely cover my neck!
    Then it won't burn! And I don't need the brim to block out the sun because I'm walking away from the sun!
    It's the perfect solution!

    It just makes me look like I'm 12 and in the 90s.
