1. Think "ooh, maybe an extra smart plug would be good."
2. Look for smart plug same brand as existing ones for simplicity.
3. Search IFTTT. Fail to find brand as IFTTT task even though existing applets look ok.
4. Try using IFTTT's AI assistant to create applet for brand.
5. GET REDIRECTED TO RANDOM SMART DEVICE SITE, which asks for email.
6. Get confused, do some searching.
7. Find out brand has stopped paying for IFTTT integration.

8. Wonder why anyone bothers.
