john fink ok!! :goat:Outside of extremely narrow parameters, there is literally no point where a mechanical watch is superior to a quartz. The appeal of mechanical is nostalgia/expense and completely unrelated to any functionality whatsoever. Quartz watches are cheaper, more reliable, more accurate, and do more stuff than mechanicals. I own both types and love both types but I am completely under no illusion that mechanicals are inherently superior or anything.
