As a climate scientist, I regularly get accused of not warning of the impending dangers drastically enough, of nice-talking the depth of the crisis with all the talk of solutions.

Equally, I get accused of losing people to inaction by shocking them with psychologically ill-advised directness and not focusing on solutions.

I can only hope that from the chaos of the crisis creative transformation will arise. Because we won't be able to discuss away the reactions of Earth to our overexploitation.
