Because, and there is little, if any, exception to this, not one Republican in America right now has a solution to any actual problem normal people are dealing with that isn't "give people with no idea what problems are the power to unaccountably and summarily murder and unperson people for being the wrong color or gender or worshipping the wrong god or loving the wrong person and convince yokels that is a solution to something." That's it, right? Like they don't have an actual platform anymore, it's just "Give rich people tax breaks and sanitize the polity of those the fuhrer deems infidels."
