Here’s on thing you can count on about me.

If I make a mistake, I cop to it. 10 times out of 10. I’m a grown person that will deal with the consequences of my actions both good and bad. I’m a big boy. I have a very definitive history of being able to reflect and adapt.

People that ignore this aspect of my personality are trying to reduce me to a version of that personality that does not exist to push a dehumanizing narrative about what I am. And we all know that is a core column of whiteness.

This is why I ignore and dismiss people who try to tell me what I am about as if my history in the fedi is not clear.

I am so much more than the colorless impressions people concoct of me based assumptions rather than curiosity.

And people hate me because I will not humor their dehumanized interpretations of my personhood.

People despise me because I’m going to continue to be my weird, intense, complicated and wonderful self.

People loathe me because I’m going to be human despite their provocations.

Think about that.
