@wizard but insurance companies and banks are core parts of "financial system", we all as society depend of financial system. So it's something needed in society despite they don't help people in a more altruistic way.
I believe the issue would be the cases where the people gets ruined directly due those institutions.
What those institutions should do is educating population, for avoiding to make decisions that could slaver themselves.
