Evelyn🚲葉美華💃The GCFI outlet in my little bathroom got burnt. Fortunately I saw the smoke and managed to turn it off before things got out of hand. So I guess GCFIs don't protect from burning plugs? 🤷♀️!

Culprit was an el cheapo hairdryer. 🙄 Gonna write #FireHazard on it before I dispose of it lest someone tries to use it. I do label my #trash sometimes. I've left a few items in the refuse room labeled "Not trash. Yours, if you want it."
Wondering if I can replace this myself... or call a pro. 🤔?
