Well the daily antiblack harassment on the fedi continues, which isn't surprising. I'm just going to highlight one particular example. In case you aren't familiar with Dee Fedilore, the account seems to have been created for the sole purpose of engaging in a one-person war against any folks involved or associated with TBS, fediblock, or who are just Black.

Following after the pattern of Eris & co, fedilore has recently anointed Ra’il to be public enemy #1 and has been posting lies about xem day in and day out for weeks. Here's just one example.

Reading through both posts, I can only come out of it with one of two conclusions. Either fedilore is purposefully misinterpreting what xē is saying or fedilore doesn't know how to read.

Ra’il: “this post is about white womanhood. White women, cis and trans, uphold white supremacy by…”

Fedilore: “This post is about trans women. It's about how trans women are racist because they're trans.”

Ra’il: “gender as defined by whiteness exists to reinforce white supremacy, and most white women do not challenge that dynamic”

Fedilore: “this is saying that trans women are trans to hurt Black MEN!! Wow, so transmisogynistic. I'm willing to talk about how some trans women can be racist but this is a Nazi conspiracy theory!!”

Do you see the distortion?? It doesn't even make sense. It's obvious that's not what xē was talking about.

If you look closely at a lot of fedilore’s posts, a similar pattern emerges. It's a lot of “Well shucks I sure wish these people I created this account to harass weren't so cruel, but they just are! I would love to interpret these 30 screenshots any other way, but I can't because my reading comprehension is trash so instead I'm just making shit up.”

The whole schtick of the account is that it's a neutral take on the meta that reluctantly condemns folks only when they get too extreme, but if you look closely you can see how deeply dishonest that is. Read up and down the account and notice who's getting condemned every day and who's getting ignored or supported. This is why critical thinking is so important (because we all know mastodon.social won't do anything about it)
