Yo you Linux lot, I know you're here: I've got a media server I want to move off of Arch (or EndeavourOS, rather) and onto something more "stable" and reliable, per se.
I'm eyeing up Debian, anything else I should look at? I'm looking at something I can easily set up a firewall with and do remote desktop on easily (I need GUI so... yeah) and EndeavourOS does the firewall part really well and latest GNOME can do remote desktop really easily with a toggle on their Settings app, so I'm not 100% on Debian yet.
FWIW: What desktop environment I use is not overly a huge concern.
As long as I can:
- get remote desktop + login
- have a firewall set up with sane defaults
I'm good to go.
