Is WordPress still the best alternative to blogging into the Fediverse, which also allows comments with activity pub compatible profiles?

I liked Writefreely, but there's no possibility of comments. And Ghost seems promising, but it's still in the development phase. I'd like just some clean interface, and that I can install on a little server.

Maybe folks in the #FediForum discussed other possibilities?
