@Sherri_Ingrey @TriptychTwinsRidesAgain There's a couple not too badly priced Thai restaurants near here and then a super expensive one. After having lived in Thailand so long and then living on my own versions of Thai food, I can't say I'm that keen on it for the past few years.

There IS a reasonable pubstyle Japanese rest a couple of blocks away and that's where I go for anything but sandwiches. Oh and there's an even more reasonable Japanese deli not far from here.

No, despite living in Japan for 8 yrs, I never grew fond of sushi or sashimi!
