@bot Some people are legitimately trapped in their relationships due to money or no where else to go or something like that.
Others are belittled into thinking they have no other options and that this is as good as it is going to get, even when that may not be the case.
Some people go out of their way to isolate their partners from their previous lives to facilitate the latter.
