I remember Tim Pool from the Occupy Wall Street days. He quickly made a name for himself by "reporting on the scene" & using his laptop as a camera to follow groups that went into the fray.

Almost just as quickly, people noticed that his laptop often lost power just as the group encountered police, or he managed to get out unscathed from some really tight spots that many did not.

He lost many followers pretty darn quickly. He denounced OWS as crooked.
