@Jonny @Terry @Diogenese_Shiplap @MuscleOrc1221 I mean, that's a nice idea, but Apollo when through 72, which was right in the middle of the vietnam war. That plus the civil right movement pushing against "the waste" so thats when you got the ISS stuff, the idea was by focusing more on science it was a realistic half measure which would keep the program alive.
