    @DrPen for the second question, it's because new people join, get harassed, and leave because Eugen refuses to add any useful moderation tools.

    If a user doesn't report posts, moderators don't see them. Very few users report posts and a lot of black folks keep leaving because of harassment.

    If we'd stop recommending Mastodon, maybe this wouldn't happen.
