    Good morning from Baltimore, where we’re spending the day at our traveling companion’s house whittling down our 14-days worth of carry-on items to less than 22 lbs because we just learned that TAP is the Ryan Air of Portugal.

    Oh, and just 4 lbs of hand-carry items. WTF?

    I’m tempted to just leave most of the clothes I packed here and just buy new stuff when I’m there. Probably cheaper than paying excess baggage fees.
