Not that anyone asked, but it actually doesn't surprise me that Twitter likely getting shut down in Brazil is not dominating fediverse discussions. I would have a really hard time recommending that Brazilians move here en masse. The culture around here is—let's say—unwelcoming, and the moderation and safety tools are extremely not adequate to offset that.

The fediverse is not well connected to Brazilian social networks, and this doesn't seem likely to change that. Which sucks, for the record.
