    The demolition of the old Chicago Tribune printing press building starting this week for a casino follows the trend of the legacy media being scattered to the wind as they are purchased by investors seeking maximized profits every quarter.

    The Chicago Tribune Building isn't a news room any more. It's condos.

    The same has happened to smaller papers across the country.
