@Polfusilier They edited this paragraph out of Julius Caesar's page. It's about his reforms as dictator. One was a massive debt reform that eliminated 1/4 of private debt and capped interest rates. Another was about banning Non-Roman guilds. Both laws would have pissed off the jews who were already all over Rome. Cicero mentions this in a speech he gave in court where he mentions outsized jewish influence in their politics. This is why I assume the conspiracy to kill Caesar was jewish in origin.
