My wife and I are dropping our son off for his semester in NYC and tonight we went to see Oh Mary! on Broadway. I cannot recommend the play enough.
It’s a completely ahistorical play about alcoholic and aspiring cabaret star Mary Todd Lincoln (played by Cole Escola, who is also the playwright) in the days leading up to Abe’s assassination. It is exceptional silly and riotously funny. If you have chance to see it (it’s playing into November), just go!
