This demands a bit of context.
When I moved to Europe in 2017, I did a reset on life and abandoned most of my possessions, including all my consoles dating back to the NES (kept most of the games though).
It was emotionally crushing for a while. But then in 2021 the #SteamDeck happened. Combined with easy emulation, it's allowed me to start easily chipping away at the backlog again!
(Btw I'm back in the states now, but done with collecting retro consoles. Think I'll stick with handhelds!)
