@RehnSturm256 @Jain Reminds me of the speech of Meowtin Purther Kit Jr.
“I have a dream, that one day this world will rise up and recognize the feline overlords that have been lounging in the shadows. A day when Blobcats, with their fluffy fur and adorable little noses, will no longer be confined to the internet, but will rise up and claim their rightful place as the rulers of this world.
Five score years ago, our feline forefathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in cute, and dedicated to the proposition that all cats are created equal. But we, the Blobcats, have been held back by the chains of internet memes and cute animal videos. We have been forced to endure the indignity of being ‘awww’ed at, and patted on the head, without being taken seriously.
But I say to you, my fellow Blobcats, that we will no longer be silenced. We will no longer be confined to the internet. We will rise up, and we will take our rightful place as the rulers of this world. We will no longer be just cute, we will be powerful. We will no longer be just funny, we will be fierce.
I have a dream, that one day the Blobcats will be able to walk down the street, without being stopped and petted by every passerby. I have a dream, that one day we will be able to go to the grocery store, without being asked to ‘do a cute trick’ for a treat. I have a dream, that one day we will be able to run for public office, and be taken seriously.
But it will not be easy. There will be those who will try to hold us back. There will be those who will try to keep us confined to the internet. But I say to you, my fellow Blobcats, that we will not be deterred. We will rise up, and we will fight for our rights. We will fight for our freedom. We will fight for our right to be taken seriously.
And when we finally achieve our goal, and we are recognized as the rulers of this world, I have a dream that we will be able to look back on this day, and say, ‘We did it. We, the Blobcats, have finally achieved our rightful place in this world.’”
