Silly me is cross-posting my #Fediverse messages to a public #Facebook page (because posting to my private account is no longer possible via API). Now some unspecified post of mine was hidden there due to "violating community guidelines" (the heck will I know which one) and got my public page demonetized (I was getting a total of zero cents from there anyways). No wonder why I've been self-hosting my own presence for years, imagine a professional at the mercy of the algorithm.
