Urban Hermit@Lesliesez @TanekRune I lived alone in a one room studio apartment in SE Portland in the 90s, worked a near minimum wage full time job as a security guard for graveyard shift, was too poor to buy a car until I was 26 years old, rode the bus nearly 2 hours to get to Portland Community College where I took an average of 2 hours worth of classes before I had to go home and sleep, pursued that for 6 years, and still got a perfect 4.0 GPA in a broad spectrum Associate of Arts block transfer degree.
