Way back in the day, I had this 2005 WRX. There are a lot of things about that car that were better ... better fog lights, better steering wheel, boost gauge, the cool dashboard cup holder (that everyone hated but I liked). It had the smaller 2.0 engine though. The 06 has the better engine though.

I sold my 05 on Craigslist to a fireman in Dayton Ohio before I left the country for a bit. That one I kept mostly stock, as with this one until right now. I don't autocross anymore, so I really haven't looked into performance upgrades. But maybe I should get back into racing. 🤔
