@hazlin i use it quite a bit. you can do a remix that splits every so many minutes. i use that on downloaded videos that are long. then i have a script attached to mpv that trashes files after viewing ends.

so it just bins the segments as they are seen and i can come back at any point to pick up again.

vlc has too many god damn buttons that do stupid shit and it doesn't have ones that it should (like volume normalization is some janky buttfuck in vlc, it's not a true auto leveler it does some retarded fuck that nobody understands)

there's a compressor and the interface is goddamn ass catheters for that (what do these knobs do? who the fuck knows haha :blobcatbeer2:) but the best part is i was willing to forgive them but you can't actually access the compressor on the android build so what little volume correction exists they fucked up anyway.

oh but there's like a web UI i can install and control from a stream deck via companion and shit and its like OK cool i'm glad i can do literally anything with this piece of shit traffic cone other than just NOT GET EAR RAPED because obviously nobody in the history of ever had that issue, oh, but i can stamp a logo bug on things that are playing.
