Sure there were mobilization and minor inconveniences — sanctions, visa restrictions. Peanuts compared to what we had to go through.
I was often thinking back then: I wish people in Moscow woke up from air raid sirens and explosions like we do. I wish they had to run scared.
Kursk is not Moscow, but still.
