I'm not a fan of many parts of CrossFit but do like some of it.

But other parts of CrossFit culture, I am not fond of. Athlete safety has to be a priority, but CrossFit culture pushes the opposite.

Many beginner lifters get injured in CrossFit because of the emphasis that they put on going to failure and "as many reps as possible" over form. I have so many friends that got into CrossFit then soon got injured.
