Every time when I bring up Fedi in conversation with my wife, I say either:
"I've read on the socal media that is like Twitter, but is not, that..."
or:
"My online acquaintance, who lives in a condo in Miami, said that..."
She absolutely refuses to hear words "Fediverse" and "Mastodon".
