When I was growing up, Humboldt was foggy a lot.
The last few years have been less foggy, and we were seeing more colorful sunsets.
This summer is closer to the Humboldt from my youth, so Summer and I were happy to see some color in the sky at the end of the day today instead of a gray wall of fog.
Enjoying the sunset with a sweet cuddly Summer dog is maybe the best part of the day. Getting rewarded for our patience with beautiful color makes it twice as nice.
