German comedian Harald Schmidt pointed out in one of his bits that with increasing age and wisdom, you have to stop reading bad books and should throw books away. best if they are still wrapped. because, in the end, what books can still survive the test of time? mean something in the face of death? maybe the bible as last book? maybe not even that?
